Generally speaking, those on the lighter side of the weight spectrum should be taking less than those on the heavier side of the weight spectrum in order to experience the desired result of CBD. In other words, the greater the body weight, the higher the dosage that should be considered.

Another factor to consider is the level of discomfort being experienced by the user. Those with severe pain will require a different dosage than those in minor pain, for example. It varies with the vape product itself but in general, inhaling for about 3 to 5 seconds has been reported to yield effective results. Given this method, CBD can be administered on an as-needed or as-desired basis.

While CBD dosage can take time and experience to yield a customized approach, it is important to keep in mind that CBD is non-toxic and preliminary research has found that there are no serious side effects. One study in 2011 found that even in chronic doses as high as 1,500 milligrams per day, CBD products were deemed safe.
